After School Pickup Program starting next week!!! All Stars will now be offering a ride from school to gymnastics…how convenient for Mom and Dad?! On Tuesdays, pick up will be at St Gabriel and on Thursdays at Oliver Ellsworth. Once the kids are picked up, they will come to All Stars and change into his or her gymnastics outfit and have a quick snack from home. There will be games and activities and of course an hour long gymnastics class. Parent pickup at the gym is 5 pm. Spaces are limited so sign up today! For more information call 860-683-2286.

UPCOMING CHEER DATES

The home of the Red Hot All Stars!

• September 5th & 6th - 6:00-8:00 pm
  – Try out cheer clinic- Learn the required skills that you will be demonstrating at Try-outs
• September 7th – 4:30 -7:30 pm
  Try-outs for our competitive cheerleading teams. You will be asked to perform a short routine and various cheer skills that will be taught to you at the cheer clinic. The performances will be judged & each athlete will be evaluated for skill level. Everyone will make a team. Try outs will determine what team will be appropriate for each individual- You might want to think of it more like an evaluation vs. a try-out.
• Sept 8th- Team postings will be up at the gym by 6pm-Followed by posting on our website.

Gymnastics Birthday Parties are a fun and exciting way to celebrate your child’s birthday. Save the wear and tear on your nerves and the mess in your house by scheduling a Gymnastics Birthday Party.

Need a night out? Want to go to dinner and a movie, . All Stars Gymnastics Academy has the perfect solution so you can get a night out by yourselves and the kids won't even miss you because they'll be hanging with the All Stars staff; playing in the gym, eating pizza and and they'll finish the night watching one of their favorite movies on in ASGA's digital theater where we show the movie on the wall. It's just like a real movie theater but the seats are mats.

All movies are rated PG.

NOTE: Children must be 5 years of age and older.

Handouts will be provided to each student demonstrating the different flight position that comprises a back handspring.

Level 4 State Championships

All Stars Gymnastics Wins Level 4 State Championship.

Congratulations to the ASGA level 4 team winning the level 4 state championship with a 186.75 team score (an average of 9.34 on each event). The team score is calculated from using the top 5 individual event scores on each event.

ASGA Baylee Elliot had the highest All ARound Average out of 5 sessions of competition. The whole team won gold medals each scoring above a 35.00 in the all around to achieve this.

Level 5/6 State Championships May 10th & 11th.

All Star’s Gymnastics Level 5 takes State championship Runner up and Level 6’s Win Connecticut State Championship May 10th – 11th. The Connecticut state meet was located in Killingly, CT and hosted By Deary’s Gymnastics of Danielson, CT.

Level 5’s girls did an awesome job! This is a fun team with a lot of personality. They are all excited to move on to learn level 6 skills. Out of this group of 8 young ladies after Saturday 4 of them hold state championship titles in events and three of them are All Around Champions.

Jessica Smith (ages 7 & 8) - All Around Champion in addition to winning 1st on bars, 1st on floor, 1st on vault

Sydney Johnson (age 11) - All Around Champion in addition to winning 1st on bars, 3rd on floor, 1st on vault

Kayliana Corujo - (age 13) All Around Champion in addition to winning 1st on beam, 1st on floor, 1st on vault

Jessica Johnson-Giles - (age 10) 2nd All Around Champion in addition to winning 2nd on beam, 3rd on floor, 1st on vault

Kiley Vermette (age 9) - 2nd All Around Champion in addition to winning 2nd on beam, 2nd on bars

Sierra Taylor (age 11+) - 3rd All Around Champion in addition to winning 3rd on floor

Juliet Orszulak (age 11 ) - 3rd All Around Champion in addition to winning 3rd on bars, 2nd on vault

Level 6’s did an incredible job. Each and everyone of them competed extremely well and kept in great spirits through out the whole competition. This is a very supportive team with tremendous talent. They pushed each others performances and kept close friendships. Congratulations girls to being All Stars Gymnastics First Level 6 Connecticut State Champions. Out of this group of 8 young ladies after Saturday 5 of them hold state championship titles in events and four of them are All Around Champions.
